Thoughts on all think worth thinking about. I think it, then write it. I will probably post more about the Hip Hop Culture than anything else, so don't expect much about stilettos, cooking and shopping. But do enjoy because, its only words.

My hip hop ways were inavitable
2005 was the year it all started, well as far back as a can remember.
i got into this whole hip hop thing. i was doing grade 11 and was dating this 2pac frazed fan. he was soo into hip hop our whole class knew him as "2pac". we chilled and he would play some outlaw stuff, some nelly, and some boyz2men....but he was all about this culture, down to the threads.....anyway, on the home front hip hop was living there aswell, it was like a tradition that got passed down, it would never have missed me. From Big Brother who had back then, and still has this big old Biggy and Diddy in suits, Biggy rocking a black one and Puff a white one to playing puffy and mase, to buying every copy of jarules album , i got into it.
Whenever my other brother was due to come home he'd come with some good hip hop tracks. We all lived the culture. it was sort of a trend that never left me . 2006,My closest brother and i got done with matric, packed on our bags and left, we moved in with the other brother(if you confused, hard luck). We were already deep in the hip hop thing, we were heads. We had a PC that wa fully loaded with hip hop music. We was like kids in a candy store, mind you when we was back home we only had the priv of listening to hip hop when the other brother came home.
We lived hip hop music, we wore hip hop. Many people thought i was lesbo( i got usedto that). i loved listening and looking hip hop. -it would be Fat joe,Akon, Game. G-Unit,Ja-Rule,50 Cent, and some artists we had never heard of.we would just play that all day errday. it was awesome.
See hip hop to me is like a long time best friend. It has always been there for as long as i can remember, around me. I loved it because my brothers loved it. There was never a time i had to live without it. i've always known it.
So my hip hop ways started long before i could differentiate between the west and the east coast. before i got to learn about commercial and underground hip hop, before i got to learn about Common and Talib, before i knew where hip hop originates from, before i knew Prophets of Da City and thier role in our own, before i knew the graffitti, before i knew the dance, before i knew the dj, before i knew what hhp did was hip hop. BEFORE I KNEW HIP HOP WAS MORE THAN MUSIC, BEFORE I KNEW HIP HOP WAS A MOVEMENT!
....Tanzy....
(To- Always- Never-imitate- Anyone)
